A man was hit by a vehicle on Amethyst Road Thursday morning in Victorville – VVNG.com
VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – A helicopter was requested to transport a pedestrian to the trauma center after it was hit by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Victorville.
It happened around 7:15 a.m. on June 23, 2022, in the Amethyst Road and Quail Cove Place area.
American Medical Response and Victorville police responded to the scene and located a male pedestrian on the roadway who did not respond.
Ambulance crews requested a helicopter to take the pedestrian to the trauma center.
The female driver of the twisted vehicle, a blue Ford Fusion from 2016, stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.
As of 8:30 a.m., Amethyst Road is closed between Hook Boulevard and Mojave Drive for an unknown time while authorities investigate.
