A man shot by an intruder transferred from Liberty Park in Victorville – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – The man who was shot by the alleged intruder was flown from Liberty Park in Victorville.

Around 11:24 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, Victorville Police Deputy Deputies responded to a residence on Cholame Road near Petaluma Road.

San Bernardino County firefighters also responded and demanded that a medical helicopter land in Liberty Park and transport the shooting victim to a trauma center.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told VVNG that the reporter had returned home and found her roommate had a gunshot wound.

“Preliminary information is that an unknown intruder broke into the house and the victim was shot,” Rodriguez said. “The suspect had already left when the reported party arrived and so far there is no information on a possible suspect.”

Detectives are investigating the incident, and additional information will be updated as soon as it becomes available.
