A fire broke out in an empty building in Victorville – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – Victorville City Fire responded to a fire in an empty building Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 8:52 a.m. on March 22, 2022, on the corner of Victor Street and Circle Drive near Victorville DMV.

The units that arrived first reported that smoke was spreading through the roof. Firefighters entered the building and confirmed that there was an active fire in it.

Firefighters climbed onto the roof and cut holes to help ventilate the structure. The crews reported that they put out the fire by 9:30 a.m.

In addition, firefighters reported repeatedly reacting to fires at the same location.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
