You probably drank too much Bridgerton last winter from your couch with a pair of sweatpants, but now you can enter the prom inspired by the show – although you’ll probably want to replace those tops with a flowing dress or velvet coat worthy of Queen Charlotte.
The Queen’s Ball: The Bridgerton Experience in March 2022 will bring a pop-up window from the Regency era to LA in March 2022, which is partly a captivating cameraman and partly a show for classical music and dance.
As in the Netflix series, the disembodied voice of gossip lady Lady Whistledown will take you through the evening. All in the name of impressing Her Majesty, the Queen, you will establish yourself in Madame Delacroix’s dressmaker and pose in the painting studio before visiting the Queen herself to prove why you should be the diamond of the season. You’ll also find dancers and a string quartet who deal with classic covers of contemporary songs on the show, plus actors recreating some of the highlights of the series.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. and starts at $ 49. You must be 21 years old to visit (drinks will be served), and 90-minute sessions from Tuesday to Sunday require time-limited tickets.
Like almost every spectacular event these days, for now we only know that it will reach a “secret place in Los Angeles” (the pop-up window of Netflix, Shondaland and Fever will also appear in Chicago, Washington, DC and Montreal before traveling around the world ), but expect more information to arrive before debuting next year.
