APPLE VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – Three women from Los Angeles were arrested after stealing cosmetics and drugs worth 8,000 dollars from several stores in the Apple Valley, officials said.

It happened on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, around 4:47 p.m., in block 12,000 of Apple Valley Road.

Sheriff’s officials said they were sent to the site after receiving reports that the subjects stole garbage bags full of products.

Upon arrival, the witness gave the deputies a description of the subjects, their vehicle and license plates.

While attorneys investigated the theft in Walgreens, Rite Aid and Target reported additional thefts in the Apple Valley.

Officials said the subjects from Walgreens’ theft matched the description of the subjects in Rite Aid and Target. It was later learned that the same subjects stole from Rita Aid in Hesperia.

The investigation and with the help of the Sheriff’s Aviation and the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle was located on Highway 215. The traffic was suspended, and three subjects were detained.

“During a search of the vehicle, investigators found 13 black garbage bags with drugs and over-the-counter cosmetics. The deputies returned about 8,000 dollars of goods and are currently in the process of returning them to the victims “, it is stated in the announcement.

Shardai Williams19 i Trejour Heard, 20, were arrested and detained at the High Desert Detention Center for grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime. Both were remanded in custody in lieu of $ 1,000,000 bail.

Zaniya Townsend18, was arrested and assigned to the High Desert Detention Center for conspiracy to commit a crime and was detained on $ 25,000 bail.
