3 accused of stealing $2,000 worth of chainsaws from Visalia business

BISALIA, California (KFSN) – Three men are in custody on charges of major theft, Vizalia police said.

Police were called shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday to a Jensen and Pilegard operation on Main Street where three men were allegedly stealing chainsaws.

A little while later, the police dragged a vehicle that was located at the crime scene.

Investigators said a suspect fled after the car stopped. Two other media outlets were arrested.

Police later found the third suspect in a Whitendale home and remanded him in custody.

Police say chainsaws worth about $ 2,000 were found and returned to the company.
