2nd victim of fatal Pomona shooting is identified – Daily Bulletin

POMONA – Authorities on Monday identified the second of the two men who were shot to death in Pomona.

Ronnie Ennis Jr. was 47 years old and his city of residence was unknown, according to the forensic office. He died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The forensic office had previously identified the other victim as 44-year-old James Yagle, whose hometown was also unknown.

Officers were dispatched to block 200 of Ridgeway Road around 12:11 a.m. Wednesday after a phone call from a person lying on the street, Pgona Police Sgt said. Iain Miller.

“Officers found an adult male victim who appeared to have been shot,” Miller said in a statement. “A second adult male victim was several meters away and appeared to have also been shot.”

Doctors determined the death of both persons at the scene. Police believe the shooting may have occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Miller said.

“At the moment, the suspect in the shooting is unknown and the motive for the murder is also unknown,” Miller said.

No arrests were reported and there was no suspicious information.
