2022 Oscars red carpet live: Stars arrive at 94th Academy Awards; ‘Power of the Dog,’ ‘CODA’ among best picture contenders

LOS ANGELES – The biggest night in Hollywood is back!

The stars are set to parade on the red carpet before hosts Regina Hall, Amy Sumer and the Wanda Sykes kick off the 94th Oscars at the Dolby Theater – a long-awaited return to glamorous normalcy after last year’s graduation ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ABC.

Nothing will fall on this year’s red carpet, where the stars are expected to offer shine and glamor

Prior to the ceremony, the Academy will announce the winners in eight categories: production design, editing, sound, score, makeup and hairstyle, and the three short film awards.

The Oscars have lined up some big stars in the stars for this year’s ceremony: Beyoncé and Billie Eilish will perform nominee songs and a select group of presenters – including some unexpected names such as DJ Khaled, Tony Hawk, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Shaun White. – will distribute prizes.
