HESPERIA, California (VVNG.com) – A 20-year-old man was killed in a car crash on Wednesday night in Hesperia.
It happened around 10:46 p.m., April 20, 2022, on Willow Street, west of Eleventh Avenue, and included a 2011 Dodge Charger.
Ambulance staff arrived on the scene and stated that the driver had been identified Jaime Gallo Herreraa resident of Hesperia, died on the spot.
According to the sheriff’s statement, the investigation revealed that Charger was in the west on Willow Street when the driver lost control and caused the vehicle to overturn several times.
“It has not been determined whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision,” the statement said.
Willow Street from Cypress Avenue to Eleventh Avenue was closed for several hours as Hesperia Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) deputies worked on the scene. The road has reopened since then.
