2 men found murdered in desolate desert area a few miles from I-15 – VVNG.com

HELENDALE, California (VVNG.com) – Authorities are investigating after two men were found shot dead in a deserted desert area just a few miles from the I-15 highway.

It happened on February 25, 2022, around 10:10 a.m., on Wild Wash Road, about 3 miles west of I-15 Highway.

Sheriff’s officials said the deputies responded to the location and located both men on the ground, unresponsive and close to the vehicle. Officials did not say how or who first found the men.

The victims, identified as 34-year-olds Timothy Del Vallea Victorville resident and a 35-year-old Marcos Martinez-Vegaa resident of Hesperia, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the spot.

The sheriff’s specialized investigation department, the Homicide Department, went to the scene and is conducting an investigation. “At this moment, the suspects (s) have not been identified,” the press release said.
