Firefighters faced challenges as several power lines were downed. The battalion chief said it was “like a fireworks display going off”. PG&E was able to help turn off the lines.
Three adults were in each house. They managed to escape, but now they will have to find a new place to stay.
Crews are still investigating what caused the fire.
